Lame / Good

So one of my bosses quit.  The crappy thing is I have two bosses, and the one I kinda like is the one leaving.  Oh, and he’s going to work for the company I left to come to where I currently (unhappily) work.  Oh, and he’ll be making ridiculous money along with a metric shit tonne of perks, including a brand new, fully loaded SUV. 

How’s that for irony?

So, first thought?  Maybe I can apply for the job he’s leaving, way more money, good perks, company truck.  Um, no.  Doesn’t sound like they’ll bother filling the position.

Riiiight, and even if the buggers did fill it, chances are they would promote a family member or friend loooong before my ass got anywhere near it.

So, carry on with plan A.  Had an interview with another recruiter Monday for a job that I'd really, really like to land.  Should here back by Friday if I get the short list to the 2nd interview.

Now I just need that interview list so I can call the other candidates and let them know the job's already been filled, thanks for your interest, buh bye now...
